Payment & Registration
You may register for Workplace Learning and Performance programs online.
There are two payment options:
- Personal check* (made payable to Penn State University)
- Direct bill to your department
*Self-payment must be received prior to the start of the program
The direct bill option will require you to obtain the following information:
- Budget number
- Budget location
- Budget fund
- Cost Center (optional)
Please Note: When choosing the direct bill payment option, a copy of your registration will be sent to your department's finance office. This will aid your finance office in paying your registration fee. Please be sure you are authorized and understand your department's policy regarding using the direct bill payment option. If your unit refuses to pay for this transaction, your registration will be cancelled. If you have any questions, please contact your Human Resource Representative.
If a conflict arises that will prevent you from attending a for-fee program, please notify us no later than 14 days in advance of the program in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations made after this time will not receive a refund, however the option exists to send another person from your unit or department in your place.
Confirmation: Program registrations received by WLP at least two weeks before each class will be confirmed by email. If you do not receive confirmation for a program, please call us to verify your registration before attending the class.
Cancellation: To help us meet program demand, please register only for programs you are sure you will attend. If a conflict arises that will prevent you from attending a program that you have registered for, please notify us at least 5 business days prior to the session so that those on the wait list have the opportunity to attend. You may notify us of your cancellation or transfer of enrollment at firstname.lastname@example.org or (814) 865-8216.
Transfers: Depending on when the request is made, it is possible to transfer from one program section to another. The earlier you notify us of a transfer request, the better. Please contact us to request a transfer or to discuss your options.
Please Note: Transfers are only applicable within the same fiscal year. Due to work areas' financial approval policies, we are unable to honor transfers between fiscal years. Please check the date before requesting the transfer.
