Welcome to the portal page for online volunteer training, provided by SkillSoft.

As you know, Penn State requires that all employees; and students and volunteers working with minors must complete Reporting Child Abuse training (per Policies AD39 and AD72). In order to provide the easiest access for you, the training is now available online. Your access to the training is through SkillPort, which is an online learning solution.

To access the site, you must first register directly with SkillPort. You will be asked to provide your name, email address, the last four digits of your SSN, your status (either Volunteer, part-time employee, or member of County Extension Office), and the Administrative Unit that you are working with (a drop-down menu will be provided). You must also have an email address from one of the accepted email domains to be able to self-register with SkillPort. (For example, you could have an email addresses from @psu.edu; @hotmail.com; @yahoo.com; @gmail.com; @comcast.net; etc.) Please note that you may need to create a new, free email account with one of these providers.

Please note, if you are a Penn State employee (faculty, staff, technical service, etc.) or a Penn State student, please use the Main SkillPort site and use your Penn State Access Account (WebAccess) to log in.

If you already have an account, please click the button to log in. If you have not yet created an account, you will need to register for one. Please click the button below to register with a new account.
