Leadership Academy

This program equips new academic department administrators with skills, resources, and time saving tools to meet leadership and management challenges. The Leadership Academy is designed for the following academic department administrators with fewer than two years of experience in their current position:

  • Department Heads
  • Division Directors
  • Directors of Academic Affairs
  • Assistant and Associate Deans

Program Topics

  • Interest-based negotiation
  • Strategic planning, improvement, and assessment
  • Legal issues
  • Performance improvement for faculty and staff
