Consulting & Support
Certified Lactation Counselor available to help with breastfeeding/pumping problems. The Breastfeeding Support Program at Penn State offers phone and in-person consultations (in the University Park area) with a Certified Lactation Counselor for help with breastfeeding/pumping problems.
A Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) is a professional with specialized training and competency in breastfeeding and human lactation support. For more information, please visit The Healthy Children Project.
Consults can be arranged prenatally, during leave, or after return to work or class. For more information or to schedule a consult, contact email@example.com.
Join us for our new monthly Working and Breastfeeding Support Group! The Support Group is a great place to meet other moms at Penn State, to ask questions about breastfeeding or parenting, to share experiences with others, and just to relax and chat. If you are a new mom (or expecting mom!) you can find ideas and support as you work through the challenges of combining work/student life with breastfeeding and parenting. We also have a baby scale available. If you are an experienced mom, Support Group meetings are a great place to share your insights and provide some guidance to new moms!
Meetings are held monthly over the lunch hour in the HUB. For specific dates/locations, please contact The Breastfeeding Support Program at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 814-867-0776. All future, current and past Penn State working/student/breastfeeding/pumping moms and children are welcome!
