How to Request Technical Service Job Review
The following forms should be completed when either of the following has occurred:
- An existing Technical Service job in your respective work unit has undergone “Substantial Change” and needs to be reviewed by a Classification Analyst.
- A new Technical Service job in your respective work unit needs to be created.
The completion of these forms will initiate the formal job review process. This process consists of various meetings between the analyst, work unit HR, work unit management, and the incumbent in the job (if applicable).
Please fill out each of the following requested sections in the forms to the best of your ability to give the analyst a foundation of the requests, changes, or issues with the job.
Please note: The typical job description can reflect only the general detail considered necessary to describe the principle functions of the given job. It cannot be expected that a job description cover every detailed duty of the job.
