Eligibility
Regular full-time faculty and staff members are eligible to enroll in the Penn State Dental Plan. The Dental Plan is administered by United Concordia (UCCI). As an alternative to UCCI participating providers, you may use any dental care specialist; however,
- When you use a UCCI network provider, you will maximize your benefits. UCCI contracts with dental care professionals to provide quality services at a discounted rate.
- When you use an out-of-network provider, UCCI pays a maximum allowable charge based on the in-network contracted amount. Charges that exceed the maximum allowable charges are your responsibility.

Any children you have may continue coverage on your insurance until they are over the age of 26. When your child(ren) is no longer eligible, please contact the Employee Benefits Division to inquire about continuing benefits under COBRA.
